I cut it in half because I’m going to use patches with this, so the whole thing mirrors itself and it’s easiers to work with. I also removed the bottom and the top of the cylinder.

That’s similar to making a movie with special effects and filming things in a bright green room, I could say. I pick a random bright color that has nothing to do with the model and I change it after I’m done.

I picked this shade of pink that’s easy to notice against the skin and makes the work easy. This is a cool method, as you worry only about the vertical lines at first and make how many horizontal lines you need as you go. This is because I thought it would be better to fit the thing the best I could and go about adding horizontal lines for fitting as I progressed. Please notice that this cylinder doesn’t have any horizontal lines, just vertical lines. I positioned a cylinder I got from the Primitive tool and changed its size to be about the size of the shirt - which is more a tanktop than a shirt, but yeah.

I’m better with commented walkthroughs than tutorials, I think. This is more a commented guide through the progress of the shirt than a proper tutorial.
